What is DeuFöV?
DeuFöV is the legal basis on which professional language courses for the German language are conducted. The Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF) is responsible for running the DeuFöV courses. The BAMF allows public and private providers - such as the language school zum Ehrstein and the Kolping Bildungswerk - to do this. What are DeuFöV courses? DeuFöV courses are designed to help participants acquire, deepen and consolidate professional German skills. The aim of the courses is to improve the chances of migrants and people with a migration background in the labor market. Who can take part in DeuFöV? The following people receive a certificate of authorization for participation in a DeuFöV course at the Employment Agency or your job center:

In order to take part in a DeuFöV language course, participants must have completed the previous language level. For example, if you want to take part in a B2 course, you have to provide evidence of level B1. Which DeuFöV courses are there at Ehrstein? At the Ehrstein language school, eligible participants can complete DeuFöV courses for the following language levels:
